We have recently completed a major upgrade to the database and layout of the site to make it more secure, more reliable and most importantly, more user friendly.

If you are not logged in as a subscriber of this site, you will see a blank vertical bar to the right of this posting. Once logged in as a subscriber, the bar will list each available edition of the online editions of the newspaper.

Subscribers can click on those links to download the content of the newspaper in PDF format.

If you are not a subscriber, you can use the Site Links menu to the far right of the page to check out the system requirements for the online edition as well as try a test download of the newspaper to see if it is something you would like to consider. If you would like to subscribe to the online edition, please use the subscription links found to the right of this post as well as in the main navigation menu at the top of this page.

Thought the look of the site has changed, your assigned username and password will still work to log into the site.

PLEASE NOTE: The free edition of the Addison Independent (www.addisonindependent.com), allows users to sign up to post comments and participate in forum discussions on that site. That password is not able to access this site; as well, user names and passwords for subscribers to this site will not work on the Addison Independent's free web site.
